On the first morning the Tuscan sunrise streamed into our room and chided us to awake and take in the magnificient view - it was breathtaking! The rolling hills around the Castle Montegufoni over the course of the week changed glorious autumn colours. Our room, was perfectly comfortable - so much so we almost forgot to leave.
The Castle location enabled very easy jaunts around the Chianti countryside (use a GPS!!)
The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly.

We loved the property and the village. The villa was modern and quite comfortable. The village was quaint and picturesque. The villagers were a little curious about us, but as friendly as they could be considering we spoke no Italian. Mrs. Dalida, the manager, was wonderful and helped us very much.

We couldn't have asked for nicer accomodations-the villa and surrounding area were absolutely beautiful. The nicest part was having a chance to live amongst the locals in Lugliano.

Fabulous !!! This property is everything that you can imagine is Tuscany . The location is perfect for day trips to hill towns and larger cities. The owner is terrific and will cater to your every needs. The bedrooms are bright and spacious, and the outdoor kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals which we ate at the outdoor table. I can't think of one negative comment. The pictures on the website are true and the property is exactly as advertised. ENJOY !! |
